Registration for CIIRTA 2027 is now open!
We look forward to welcoming you to Tokyo for the 20th Congress of the International Intestinal Rehabilitation and Transplant Association (CIIRTA 2027).
Welcome Message & Special Invitation for Accompanying Persons
To ensure a truly memorable experience for all attendees and their loved ones, CIIRTA 2027 warmheartedly encourages all delegates traveling with family members, partners, or companions to register them under the Accompanying Person category.
Registered accompanying persons will enjoy an exclusive array of complimentary hospitality benefits, including full access to the Welcome Reception, daily venue coffee and refreshment services, complimentary daily lunch boxes, and specially curated official social programs such as the Tokyo Half-Day Guided Bus Tour and the Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony Experience.
We kindly ask that all accompanying family members register in advance so we may extend our full Japanese hospitality (Omotenashi) to everyone in your party.

Important Notes on Registration Benefits & Special Programs:
- Patient and Family Category: Registration grants access strictly to Designated Patient & Family Advocacy & Support Sessions, but excludes general scientific sessions and commercial Lunch/Evening Symposia. A complimentary Japanese lunch box (Bento) will be provided separately at the venue each day.
- Accompanying Persons (All Ages): Access to all scientific program sessions (including Lunch/Evening Symposia) is excluded. However, registered accompanying persons receive full hospitality access, including the Welcome Reception, venue coffee services, a complimentary daily lunch box, and official social events (Free Tokyo Bus Tour & Traditional Tea Ceremony Experience).
- Gala Dinner Ticket (Optional): The Congress Gala Dinner is an optional ticketed event (JPY 25,000 per person) and is not included in standard registration fees for any category.
- Optional Kimono Rental & Dressing Experience: An exclusive Japanese Kimono Rental & Traditional Dressing Experience will be offered (paid activity). Participants who sign up will have the unique opportunity to attend the Welcome Reception wearing an authentic Japanese Kimono. Further details and booking instructions will be announced soon.
- Exhibitor Pass: Grants access strictly to the Exhibition Area and Main Lobby. Exhibitor Pass holders are not permitted to attend Scientific Program sessions, Welcome Reception, Lunch Symposia, Coffee Services, or Social Events.
Eligibility & Category Definitions

Allied Health Professional (AHP) / Trainee:
- AHPs include Nurses, Dietitians, Pharmacists, Clinical Coordinators, Physical Therapists, Technicians, and Allied Health Care Providers.
- Trainees include Clinical Fellows, Residents, and Postdoctoral Researchers. Proof of trainee status (an official confirmation letter from your department head or institution) must be uploaded during online registration.
- Student Registration: Available strictly to individuals enrolled as full-time undergraduate or graduate students at the time of the Congress. A valid student ID card or official proof of enrollment must be submitted.

Emerging Economy Countries Eligibility Criteria:
- Reduced Emerging Economy Countries rates apply exclusively based on the participant’s current country of residence and professional affiliation (the country where the participant currently lives and works), not nationality or country of origin.
- The country of current affiliation must be listed on the official TTS Emerging Economy Nations List.
- Accompanying Person Registration: Intended exclusively for family members or personal companions of registered delegates. This category is not available to healthcare professionals, researchers, or industry representatives attending in a commercial capacity.
- Exhibitor Pass: Reserved for official booth staff of confirmed CIIRTA 2027 sponsors and exhibitors.
- Lunch & Evening Symposium Sponsors: Receive up to three (3) complimentary Exhibitor Passes per sponsored session.
- Exhibition Sponsors: Receive up to two (2) complimentary Exhibitor Passes per exhibition booth.
- Additional Exhibitor Passes: Can be purchased at JPY 48,000 per pass.
Payment Terms
- All registration fees must be paid in Japanese Yen (JPY).
- Payment must be completed by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, or Diners Club) during online registration. Bank transfers cannot be accepted.
- Registration is considered valid only upon receipt of full payment.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the Congress Secretariat via email (info@ciirta2027.org).
- Cancellations received on or before January 15, 2027 (23:59 JST): Eligible for a refund, minus a flat cancellation administrative fee of JPY 10,000.
- Cancellations received on or after January 16, 2027, or No-shows: Strictly non-refundable.
